Can I have a post please. My son is 3 and has autism, every morning without fail he is quietly getting onto his windowsill and will start banging on the window really loudly and singing. I’ve spoke to the health visitor and his portage worker about it but none could offer any help. Now i wouldn’t mind if I woke up to him singing in his room but not when he’s banging hard on the window. I was just wondering if anyone else’s child was the same I’ve never known anyone else child to do it from people I have spoken to. I’ve exhausted all options like not having anything infront of his window to climb on but he doesn’t need help to climb on. I’m wishing I could block it off completely. If my neighbors hear or see him they probably think I let him run feral. I’ve wondered how he has mastered getting there without me hearing and how long he sits there without me hearing before he starts banging on it.
