can I have a post please, NBR.. I’m banking with Santander and I’m constantly being charged ‘un arranged overdraft fees’. Even though I don’t go over drawn (did once by accident as I took my money out and my amazon order also went out the same time) and one time a direct debit failed as they took it earlier than agreed so was charged for that. But I’m not on any wage and only receive child benefit and child tax. I’ve had £96 took from my child tax in bank fees last month, £89 and another £46 last week and now all of a sudden I’m another £88 over drawn that will come out of my child benefit next week so I’ll be left without that.. I’ve also been charged ‘international charges’ whatever they are of £46. Its leaving me with hardly any money!! I’ve read online that they can’t legally take from ‘benifits’ money, just looking for some advise if possible please, tried to ring my bank but don’t get anywhere. Thank you x
