Can I have a post pls! My 3 year old has to have antibiotics for a bad ear infection. He is point blank refusing to take it. Even if I try mix it with something, even tried to hold him down and give him it but he just spits it back out. Also tried bribery. I am out of ideas on what to do. Can someone help me please.

This is going to sound awful,but I had this problem.in the end it took me n her dad to pin her down and use a syringe had to put it in far enough to the back of the tongue(not choke her by the way lol) so that she had no choice but to swallow. Wasn’t pretty and I’m certain she wanted to kill me but it worked lol xxx
I read a story that said if you get juice out of a lemon and dip a cotton bud of it it ment to clear up infections, weather it’s ture or not it was ment to be used in the olden days, also I would put my daughters in the teat of her bottle and she would drink itthinking it was a bottle x
My post. I have tried to pin him down but I can’t pin him down properly as I’m on my own. No one here to help me. He always manages to escape. I just want him to take his antibiotics as he has suffered all week and the doctor finally gave us some antibiotics yesterday. Had to get them changed today as the other one was making him sick so I’m not sure if that’s why he doesn’t want to take them. X
I was about to say the same, it’s the only way we get my son to take his too, it’s horrible but you have to think it’s for their good x
I mixed it in yoghurt when my girls were younger as they wouldn’t take it x
I have to almost pin mine down. Sounds bad but they need there meds
