Can you please reply back to comment. This is incase of an emergency I had a review today. And epidural isn’t an option due to reaction
I’m hoping to have a normal birth gas and air but I’m wanting to know my options and weigh up pro’s and con’s
I had a general with my first born as the epidural and spinal didn’t work and they had to quickly get my son out . He was five weeks early , very sleepy and spent first night in high dependency to be monitored but apart from some jaundice he was abso perfect and didn’t require any med
General anesthesia is used for c section only (even if you need to be cut and forceps used they won’t put you under) no my baby didn’t need scbu after my emergency c section I was under general anesthetic
I think if you needed general anesthetic you’d be having a c section
