can i have a PP please? My eldest (4.5) dad has never seen her and doesn’t ever want contact with her. he went to and fro with the idea of being in contact whilst I was pregnant but cut all contact with me 9 weeks before due date. Ive never asked anything of him and have moved on with my life have new partner etc. We both work full time, pay huge childcare fee’s along with the normal rent bills etc. We barely have money left over for real treats for her, family and friends saying we should claim for maintenance. Will this give him any rights to access or birth certificate though? I think after almost 5 years its way too late for a relationship with her now but at the same time why should he get off scott free financially when we’re busting a gut every month?
