Can being overweight affect your sex drive? My husband is overweight and I know he doesn’t feel confident with his body and I am lucky if we have sex twice per week. He just doesn’t seem to be sexually attracted to me anymore even though we are still very much in love and I know that he isn’t cheating. Says he loves me all the time but just 90% of the time when we go to bed that is it we just sleep. Suppose I just want to know if him carrying the extra weight could be effecting his sex drive and if he loses some weight would it come back? Has anyone had anything similar to this before? I have tried talking to him about it and he assures me that he loves me and we are very happy together but it’s just the physical attraction.

It did me. I Was a size 22. Now a 12 and when I was heavier I didn’t want to because I wasn’t confident. I didn’t want my partner to see me. Now I’ve lost almost 6 stone and in that time things have improved remarkably. My partner thought I didn’t fancy him anymore and it was just me xxx
I’m lucky if I get it once a week, my partner wouldn’t do it with me for the whole of my pregnancy and because of that I have barely any sex drive x
