Can i have a pp. This a long one but I need opinions before i decide weather or not il be taking my boy to doctors. My sons school has mentioned to me they want him to be assesed for possibe adhd due to behaviour out bursts. I do not think my son has adha i think hes just struggling to understand his emotions as hes 4 years old and had a very choatic year. But hes alot better now then a year ago. At the start of this year my son witnessed his dad assault me and we were all kicked out of the family home at 2 in the morning. I then moved. 60 miles away in with family while i got back on my feet. So my son lost all his friends and cant see his dad except for in a center due to the violence and his drug and alcohol miss use. He started nursery and i had to put him back in nappies and he had some major attachment issues where. I couldnt leave him even for 5 mins. Hes now out of nappies and pretty much back to normal except for these ocansianally behaviour outbursts which always happen after his dad missis contact. But they can last intill the next contact and be completely unpredictable. Ive been intouch with the childrens center and they have be brilliant in helping me understand my. Sons emotions and look into different ways into managing it. So question what do people think i should do. I don’t want him to be labeled with something he doesn’t have
