Can I have a ppp.
My older brother has been in a relationship with a girl for around 8months, now at first things were brill, they were really happy and she seemed nice enough (although I’ve not met her yet, just chatted over fbk) However I now get the impression that she is a drama Queen, stirrer and manipulating my brother. When she was ill with her asthma and in hospital she got arsey with him as he’d been busy with his business so didn’t get chance to visit. My mum sent her a polite msg basically saying to put less pressure on him as he’s got a business to run and he’s stressed out enough. Since then things have gone from bad to worse to the point where my mum and brother aren’t speaking at all. All because of this girl, he won’t hear a bad word against her (even if it’s true) and I just feel he’s chosen her over his family. When my mums tries to talk to him he just lashes out and tells her to F*** off. My mums not a control freak or interfering at all, I think she’s acting like any mum would who cares about their kids. My mums done nothing but help her, buying her stuff, taking her son to see her in hospital and giving her and my brother lifts. I’ve also offered her a job at my work (only a few days a week but it gets her out the house and thought it would build her confidence) but she refused because of apparent ‘health’ issues my brother then kicked off saying stuff like you know she can’t work (which I do not believe) I’m trying to remain calm and neutral as I don’t want to lose contact with my brother, but I don’t know how long I can bite my tongue before saying the reason this is happening is because of her! Just when I think things are calming down she just adds fuel to the fire. He didn’t come to my daughters 4th birthday as he said his gf has anxiety so it would be too much for her, and now I’m getting married in may and I can see the same thing happening again. However I’m starting to feel that maybe it would be better off of they didn’t come as I don’t want her causing trouble. At the end of my tether and I haven’t spoken to him for over a week since he said our mum deserves a slap. I don’t know what to do or say anymore 😢
