Can I have a ppp

Okay well basically my friend Is due her baby in the next few weeks she’s a first time mum and she doesn’t know weather to get shaved down there or leave it she normally shaves but since she hasn’t been able to see it she hasn’t and she’s worried when it comes to the d day she’ll get judged by the midwife and doctors what do other mum’s think?? No bashing she’s nervous as it is!!

Thanks xx

  • Lol I normally shave but I was that big I couldn’t see anything so I just did the bikini line by feel but in all honesty they don’t care they see all sorts and will not judge their main focus is getting baby out safely, tbh I was more worried about pooing but I was told I wouldn’t know and they’d clean it away, yeah I knew, I even told them a few times lol, when the time comes the last thing on her mind will be what her bits look like, I thing if I ever had a 2nd I’ll just give up on it completely once I can no longer see it, far to much hassle x

  • I made sure I was waxed beforehand, but to be honest that’s gonna be the last thing on her mind….the midwives don’t care about what it looks like down there. If it makes her feel better about herself do it! Either get waxed…or use a mirror and try and pop your leg up on the side of the bath x

  • I though i had done a good shave down there until i gave birth then had a shower soon after only to realise i was only half shaved lol. But would they really care its only pubic hair. As long as baby is healthy and mummy is fine they wouldnt judge her x

  • My partner shaved me the night before I gave birth. The midwife joked about how I was “well shaved up”😂😂 and said she would of done it if I hadn’t. I would shave before I go into labor xx

  • Midwives are there to help you through your labour and birth not to judge whether you have had a shave or not .I,m 35 weeks and couldnt care less I just want baby to arrive safely 🙂 x

  • Her hairy bits will be the last thing on her & the midwifes mind believe me!! I had every man & his dog in the room at one point due to complications & I didn’t give 2 hoots… just wanted the baby out of there 😂 x

  • Tell her not to shave believe it or not the reason why we have pubic hair is to prevent us from infection i didn’t shave at all xxx

  • They don’t care if you’re shaved or not …they only care about delivering a healthy baby to momma

  • I really don’t think doctors or midwives care tbh, they’ve seen it all before.
