Can I have a private post please?

A friend of mine smokes weed while his daughter is in the next room, I’ve seen it myself! The flat stinks of it obviously when he’s smoking it. He also does it when his son stays too. His kids don’t live with him and he’s not constantly smoking it but it’s out of order! Apparently the mum smokes it too so the kids don’t know any different? I’ve spoke to him several times and he sees no wrong in it?! What would happen if I rang social services anonymously? Would it be a waste of time or would they actually do something? I’ve never had any dealings with them before but I feel I need to do something and talking to the parents isn’t helping as in their eyes it’s completely normal! The kids are 13 and 4
