Can I have a private post please? – I’m just looking for a bit of guidance and perspective I guess, I’m a first time single Mum, my ex doesn’t not want to see nor does he care for his son, I’ve made a claim to the CSA for help but I know he’ll ignore them. I’m due back to work very soon and I am going to have to go back part time, due to child care and the fact I don’t think I can afford professional child care so I’ll have to cut my hours as all my close family work too. I’m in over £7000 worth of debt which is partly to do with my ex but he won’t take any responsibility for anything.. and struggling already I just don’t know what to do or how I am going to manage, I’ve had to move home because of splitting with my ex and as my baby gets bigger I am going to need to look to move out but financially I have no idea how I’m going to do this. I’ve contacted different companies for debt help, I’ve been offered an IVA but I don’t want to do this as my credit score is already bad and I really need to be able to get somewhere else to live when he time comes, I just kinda feel a bit lost with all that’s been going on and feel like I’m drowning a little, anybody else been in this or a similar situation? Thanks
