Can I have a private post please I’m so fed up I don’t no if I’m overreacting or not I got diagnosed with gestational diabetes last week during the fasting blood test my other half decided to moan after having a full pack of doritoes and get a hot chocolate telling me how nice it was. I didn’t say anything thus week iv struggled so much iv been craving Pepsi and kitkats since bein 24 weeks. I litteraly can’t eat anything I normally eat can’t eat toast, cereal potatoes chips litteraly nothing without it sending my blood sugars through the roof iv noticed if I eat big portions it sends it through the roof and struggling to keep them down. Since I’ve found out hes eat a full pack of my rich tea biscuits (I can tolerate 2 as a snack) in front of me because I was hungry noin I had nothing else sweet in and there was chocolate ect he could have had he’s gone bough a chippy after sayin he didn’t want tea and sat eating it in front of me hes gone and bought my favourite crisps and sat and eat 6 packets in front of me he made me drive him mcdonalds on the way to the hospital and I had to sit and eat a apple while he had a mcdonalds something we always get on the way to appointments every day he’s come from his mums with stuff and sat eating it in front when he nos iv been practically starving myself trying to get my diet right and portions and iv said nothing. Today iv had 2 sausages and scrambled egg a yougurt, baby bell 2 pieces of ham and a meat and potato pie and some vegetables I’m so hungry and my levels are sky high so can’t eat anything else I told him this and he’s jus walked through the door with a massive bottle of Pepsi even though he’s been at his mums all night and I said bloody hel did u have to bring that back and he sat having drimk after drink I did my results and they were lower than they have been for ages and he said wel why don’t u have a sip won’t do u any harm I said no then did all the beds and said oh Il have one sip and he went no actually ur not I don’t want ur levels to shoot up and sat drinking the rest I said look it’s not fair this ur comin eating everything in front of me im litteraly craving and I’m starving all the time and he’s jus kicked of poured the rest down the sink threw the bottle down the toilet and said ur a selfish fat cunt u need to loose some weight anyway. Iv jus told him to go and he’s said no because his daughters poorly so he’s not leaving her I’m in the bath feeling like I don’t want to eat again 🙁 was I in the wrong for saying it’s not fair for him to be sat here day in day out eating crap after sayin he’d support me and get me through by doin it together. I don’t expect him to cut everything out I didn’t moan about the crisps the chippy or the mcdonalds but every day it’s so hard when I’m so hungry 😞
