Can I have a private post please. It’s not baby related but I’m looking advice. I’m a male and I’ve got an older sister, she’s married and she’s been with her husband for a long time. Before they got married he used to hurt her and now he doesn’t do it anymore but I can see he controls her. So when it comes to a family gathering she has to do things to respect him, things that show disrespect to the rest of the family. And when it comes to her kids no one is allowed to tell them off even if they’ve done something wrong. Her husband sends a family member to be my sisters bodyguard, it’s like they’ve popped round to say hello but really they’re there to keep an eye on her. I really want to do something about this and I will but I don’t understand why my family haven’t done anything or will do anything. My question to everyone, Mom’s, Dad’s, brothers and sisters is If this was happening to a family member how would you deal with it? Tia
