Can I have a private post please?

I’ve just turnt 20 and my little girl with be 5 months old tomorrow.
I had quite a difficult childhood, grew up in care and always battled with poor mental health and forever making the wrong decisions!
However since finding out I was pregnant I’ve completely changed as a person, for the better!

Because of my past, social services are involved and my daughter is currently on an interim care order, but she does live with me! It’s currently going through court, with the final hearing being this time next month!
My daughter does see her dad, for 4 hours once a week supervised at a contact centre!
He’s got a very recent past of drugs and alcohol addiction, has been arrested for assault a few times and once arrested for assault with a weapon on his ex girlfriend! He had a drug and alcohol test about 2 months ago and they both came back positive!
He keeps telling me that my daughter will go and live with him and I won’t have any contact with her!

I’m just really scared for next month! My daughter is my absolute world, and I honestly don’t know what I’d do if I lost her!

I’m not really sure why I’m writing this! I guess I want to know if anyone else has been in a similar situation or can reassure me her dad hasn’t a chance in hell of getting custody of my daughter!
