Can I have a private post please?? Just looking for some advice please, I’ve put my sons cot in my other sons room so they can share. (He’s 14 months) he has a really good pattern usually I’ll put him into bed at 6 with a bottle leave room and he’ll be asleep by half past. Then I can sort out my other sons routine he’s 5 Yesterday and today my youngest has really struggled going to sleep crying a lot when I leave the room so I tried sitting in the middle of room so he knows I’m there and it worked but He went to sleep at like half 7 so I’m not sure if he’s ready to leave me yet? So what I’m asking really is shall I put cot back in with me or persevere and hopefully he’ll settle soon. Also if I do carry on shall I carry on sitting in room with my back to him or carry on with how I normally put him to bed i don’t really want to be sitting on floor for an hour n half every night lol as I need to do my other sons nighttime routine.
