Can I have a private post please.
Looking for some advice please….
I split with my partner a few months ago. The day we split we had a big argument, which resulted in some physical violence that he did to me. I have only just reported this to the police, as I was worried about repercussions. The police will routinely call social services. Would I be better calling them myself and asking for help, or waiting for them to contact me? I’ve never been involved with them before. It was a minor incident and we are still having to live together, as we have a joint council tenancy and he refuses to move out and I can’t move out, financially it’s impossible. We have 3 children between us. One is his from before we met and lives with us. I want to take him to court to get him out the house.
Any advice I would appreciate please….
