Can I have a private post please
My daughter is 7months old and since she was 3 months me and her dad broke up and he hasn’t really bothered with her he did have regular contact but I stop it due to him stop taking his medication and became suicidal so I didn’t feel comfortable him having her over night. I have still offered for him to come over to see our daughter a few hours one day and he refuses my health visitor even tried setting a meeting up with us and his mother to come to an agreement that he would not be alone with her but he also refused that. He hurled abuse at me for a while and bad mouthed me as a mother. It died down when she was 5 months and I have a new partner who is a father figure to my little girl he’s the best with her. So anyway I let her dad take her to a family occasion on his side he didn’t come to the door to the door to pick her up he sent his mother. When I picked her back up he hurled abuse at me and tried to threaten my new partner. He makes me out to be the bad person when all I ever want is for my little girl to have some sort of bond with her dad but he isn’t interested hasn’t paid a single penny towards her which I’m not bothered about. I just want some advice on what to do now as I’m at my end with him he always makes me feel down about what I’m doing and makes me feel guilty all the time…
