Can I have a private post please? My partner has been suffering with depression for the past year and has had a short fuse. Last night he went off the scale and caved the back door in and smashed our front window because I locked me and the kids in the house as he was scaring them and wouldn’t let him in. Today he’s at his mums after she collected him last night and he’s asking what clothes I want bought for the kids which is lovely but when I try talk about last night there’s no mention of doctors or talking to someone about his mental health and his mums gone to work and he says it’s not her problem. He’s getting pissy down the phone saying the lads at work set him off and he just lost it when he got home which is why he went mental last night. I’m done with the excuses and brushing it under the carpet I’ve stood by him and tried to help but he’s not taking it. What the hell do I do 😞 I’ve told him he can’t be around the kids in that state but I want him to get sorted so he can as I don’t want him missing out on the kids as there asking. My heads a shed 😕 xx
