Can I have a private post please my son is 27 months old cannot say any words and just baby babbling. he’s been seeing a speach therapist since 16 months old and has been referred to a pediatrician. At his parents evening today in nursery his teachers have said he has settled in well but he likes things that are very repetitive, hates change of routine and starts crying and doesn’t listen when they say his name ( he’s had his hearing tested which they’ve said is perfect) they’ve said he’s quite behind with his communication compared to other kids his age which I no already but he is learning to do makaton with them he’s always been abit behind with most things but he is very clever he sees me do something once and can do it straight away does this sound like autism or something along them lines or am I looking into it to much as he’s stil only a young age ? Just looking for some advice or if anyone else’s child is like this tia
