Can I have a private post please. My son who is 11 has told me tonight thay he wants to be a girl. I am fully ok with this!!!! Ive told him that I don’t care who he is or what he wants to be im his mom and I’m there for him no matter what….he sobbed at this point and thanked me and gave me the biggest cuddle ever!!! Only thing is I dnt know if it’s totally what he wants. I asked him why n he said he doesn’t know he just feels it inside n that he fancies boys more than girls. Told him i will book an appointment with his head teacher n doctor which he is so comfortable with. He just concerned about what his dad will think even though I know his dad adores him anyway. Any advise guys???? Sorry for long post xx

This post is actually amazing and he’s so brace for telling you especially only being 11. I’m the same with no matter what my son I’ll love him all the same. His dad might be abit confused or shocked about it all but if he kicks off over it or does anything other then support you then in my opinion he doesn’t deserve to be called dad xxx
First off all big high five!!! What a fantastic mother u are!!! The fact he could come and talk to you is amazing!! And your response spot on!!! He is only young and my only advice would be….just take his lead??? Big hugs xxx
