Can i have a private post please? Posting on behalf of a friend.

Due on the 6th july. I’m 36 weeks and They said I can’t carry over 38 weeks due to gestational diabetes and me having a higher risk of stillbirth and was supposed to be inducing me on the 20th but now they’re saying they want to give me a sweep on the 21st and induce me a week later when I’ll be just over 39 weeks..

As anyone had this or similar and had a healthy labour? Or can my friend request to be induced early as planned as she is completely terrified.. Tia x
