Can I have a private post please.
So me and my partner don’t live together, we have one child together already and another one on the way. For the last 7 months he’s been talking about moving in with me and being a family. Today he’s told me he’s got a job working all round the country and will only be with us on weekends. When I said to him about the birth and what if he misses it he really didn’t sound bothered and said that that’s one of those things? Would you be upset? Being pregnant doesn’t help with hormones, but I feel like it’s almost torn my family in half, like we’re never going to be a proper family and that he’s not even bothered about that? I just don’t know if it’s me being super sensitive and very tired or whether Ive got a reason š© xxx

Some people don’t live together but if you have 2 children together he should have thought about moving in by now and not letting you do all the work. He obvs still wants to do his own thing when he’s not around and just see his family when he feels like it. Doesn’t seem a family man.. as for work commitments it’s good he’s got a job and sometimes working round the corner isn’t the only option but is he working to provide for your family or for money for himself is the question?
I don’t understand how he is your “partner” other than for breeding purposes. He doesn’t sound at all interested in being a “partner”. In fact it sounds to me like you’re a side piece.
