Can I have a private post please?

Basically I live with my mum and stepdad and my 14 month old little boy. The past year my mum and stepdad get very drunk over the weekend and argue to the point where all the neighbours are listening. Last night things got very bad I could hear them slagging me and my son off saying that I don’t belong here ect… this morning I have begged my mum to speak to the council and say she’s kicked me out but all she says is no I don’t want you to move out blah blah blah but my stepdad wants me out… it really isn’t about what she wants anymore I need to get out of hear for my sons sake it’s made me seriously depressed Iv told them please stop the drink and the arguing but they still continue and I can’t have my little boy around drink and arguments. Please does anyone know what else I can do? X

  • They won’t move u on the grounds of being over crowded as someone was saying.. My daughter is 20 I have her and her boyfriend and their newborn. And my 17 year old in Same room and my son in other room… My 20 year old has been told to apply for her own place which could take years…. U need to go and say the environment isn’t safe for u and your son xx

  • you have to have a letter from your parents saying they’re kicking you out in a certain amount of days .. u can’t just leave or you’ll be making yourself intentionally homeless

  • You don’t need to say you’ve been kicked out. Go to the council and say the place you’re in isn’t suitable and it’s overcrowded.

  • Speak to social services and tell them you need help as you do not feel it is a safe or appropriate environment.
