Can I have a private post please

I was in an abusive relationship. We are no longer together and I haven’t “seen him” since last December. We have a daughter together that he doesn’t see and there’s a restraining order in place, which he has broken. It’s been quiet for a while but I know it won’t be forever. Social services were involved but not now. Problem is he lives in the same area, still gets people to follow me. I really want to move away and start fresh but I don’t know where to start, it keeps me awake at night him getting to me and out daughter. Has anyone else been in this situation, living so close to their abuser, have you moved away or plan to stay? Would you move and if you did how would you go about it? If you’ve stayed has time made things better? I do live in a different address but still in the same town. Any advice or stories thank you
