My cousin had a baby 2 years ago and as soon as she found out the childs dad didn’t want to know, he’s not on birth certificate and she’s never asked him for a penny but a month after she gave birth she got into a relationship and they have been together since and they want to start a family together, he eventually wants to adopt her boy as he’s brought him up as his own but do they have to speak to the real dad if they go to court?
