Can I have a privet post please?
I have 2 children under 5 and my home is always freezing, there’s a man coming out to me next week to see what he can to do fix it. I don’t have money to waste on any electric heaters, I put in £70 of gas and it’s all used up already! What can I do to keep the heat in? Tia☺️x

Purchase thicker curtains. Draft excluders by external doors. Keeping internal doors closed during the day to keep heat in. X
Can you turn off certain radiators?
For example we turned the bathroom one off cuz it gets warm in there when we shower and bath.
We turn our sons off during the day but put it on a low heat over night same with ours.
And the living room one gets turned off at night and kitchen one is kept off.
Draft excluders, thicker curtains.
Candles actually heat the room a little too.
Put plastic over windows with double sided tape 🙂 saved me so much money last year !!
