Can I have private post please, I’m 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby and the other day I got a really bad leg cramp thought I was actually dying no joke… now I have came in from work and my feet are really swollen I don’t even have ankles anymore. I don’t have any pain with them. Has anyone been through this or know if this is just normal through pregnancy or should I call maternity??? Thank you.

I get it most mornings after I do a lot of walking (I’m 28 weeks), like the cramp is more like an electric shock and the leg muscles refuse to move. I thought the best way was to stretch them, but no, although it hurts just stand up and walk on the spot and it goes away. I think it’s to do with the pressure of bump on your legs?
I’m 31 weeks can bearly walk 2day my foot is so crampy up my leg a little im limping and the other day my hands and feet were all swole up. but I got checked and everything was fine. but I would get checked better safe than sorry xx
Leg cramps can be the baby taking calcium from your body but ring maternity if ur ever unsure better to be safe than sorry 🙂
Call midwives to be on safe side as swollen feet can be a sign of preclampsia hopefully this isn’t the case for you but better to be safe. Hope everything okay Xx
I always get leg cramp in pregnancies but you should defo phone up regarding your swollen feet x
It can be completely normal but always better to ring and see what they say x
Anything in preg should call mat unit up x

Call maternity could be pre eclampsia.
