Can I please have a private post. I’m in a long term relationship with my girlfriend and she has two daughters and a son of our own together. Now my stepdaughters are saying I’m the best ever cut a long story short their dad is seriously a deadbeat ass hole. I’m not just saying this because I’m with their mother more to it than what I’m saying so the other day I was asked by the oldest daughter if I could adopt them she can’t stand her dad she said to me I’ve done more in a short time with them than he’s ever done in their whole life. When he comes to see them he’d rather watch daft videos on his phone text people than interact with them. It was one if their birthdays not that long ago he says I’ll be there to see them then we got a phone call oh I’m not coming down which we never had the heart to tell her. There is lots more to the story but I’m wondering what do you need to do to go through adopting.
