Can I please stay anonymous, I know a lot of people going to judge 😢

A week ago today I took my son (nearly 5 years old) to the beach, where I smoothered him in factor 50, water proof suncream, twice (technically 3 times as I covered him before we left home) we were only there for 3 hours. But when we came home, I put him in the bath to see he’s very sunburnt but only on the bottom of his back! Everywhere else on his body is still white (he’s a red head) I used after sun and sudocreme the oast week and this is it this morning (picture in comments) he says it hurts. Do you think I should take him to the doctor or is there anything you can recommend putting on it? 😢 I feel like the world’s worse mother, especially as I know he was covered with a t-shirt for most of the time and suncreamed the rest of it 😢
