Can you post this anonymously please ?
I’m looking for advice my mother and my sister are both in abusive relationships. My mums husband constantly calls her names, won’t let her see any family, drinks a LOT, tells her what to wear, has every penny of her wages go straight in to her bank, she has to ask for money it’s been 10 years and she still won’t leave him I get to see her about 3 times a year when allowed. My sister if going the same way her 1st husband beat her, cheated on her, humiliated her and everything really. She left him after years when She finally had enough. Now she’s engaged after 5 months with her new partner and he is worse he takes drugs, beats her up, steals from her etc. The family have helped her through everything helped her financially, supported her always been there for her and she has three children from her previous marriage which we worry constantly about theve experienced This already now there going through it again. She just won’t listen what can I do as her partners getting worse ? I just want to help her but she won’t let me ? Thank you
