Can you put a private post onto the mums advice page please?

Just wondering how other peoples partners get along with your friends? My ex husband always had a problem with my friends, it’s not that he didn’t allow me to see them but he didn’t exactly encourage it either. There was always something wrong with whoever I was close to. I have been with my new partner now for almost 2 years now and he has just told me that he doesn’t enjoy spending time with my friends and he doesn’t feel involved in the conversation and often feels left out. What am I doing wrong? I can’t ignore my friends, I did enough of that when I was with my ex and learned the hard way that people don’t hang around waiting for you, the friends I have now have been there for me though some really tough times and are more like family, but I hate the thought that my partner is feeling excluded and am now worrying that it wasn’t my ex that had a problem with my friends at all before but something I do when my friends are around that makes my partners feel unhappy. Has anyone else experienced this? Thank you
