Could I have a post please, my nearly 10 month old has gone off her formula, I’ve always gave her food then bottle straight after I’m a first time mum and have no idea how food routine works, does she need to have the formula with her food or can I just give baby juice or water? How much formula does she need at this age? Thanks xx

  • 7oz 3 times a day is recommended sweet but my 10m old lad had an 8oz when he wakes up before breakfast and another just before he goes to sleep at night. He has 3 meals a day with snacks in between and juice with his meals and we make sure he always has juice in his sippy cup in case he wants one xx

  • My ten month old has breakfast between 8-8.30
A bottle and nap at 10.30
    Lunch at 12.30
    A bottle at 2.30-3
    Tea 4.30-5
    Bath at 6-6.30
Bed at 7 with a bottle

Your baby prob doesn’t want her bottle as they are too full after eating, try spacing it out like above. Always give water or juice with food x

  • My lg came off formula at around 10 months, she refused it even before meals. From 10 months she’s only ever had water and the odd cup of cows milk.

  • She’s probably getting fuller after eating, water is probably best after food because it’s not stodgy 😊
