Could I have a post please, my partner has a 11 year old daughter from previous relationship her mum has just taken her away for a week and is getting a fine, she’s said the dad has to pay half the fine as he gets it too? Is this right or is she having him on? I can’t find any information about it

Think you will find she is having you on! Unless he gave his written permission for her to be taken on holiday. But if he didnt then no its the mothers to pay. She is obviously scornful shes got fined. Xxx
I’ve been told (although not sure how true) it’s a £60 per parent fine but if your partner hasn’t gone away with them then I’d tell her she would have to pay it herself x
Thay will both get a fine x
The mother and the father recieve seperate fines of £60 each. Not sure on how he can appeal it but check gov.uk x
