Could I have a post please?
So I’m starting work next week doing 16 hours. I’m a single mum dad has no involvement whatsoever doesn’t pay a penny etc.
My question is what help would I get in so confused by it all! Being told one thing of one person and another of someone else and these are from appointments at the job centre! 😩

you should get child tax credit, child benefit, housing benefit and council tax benefit should also be there, not sure if full but doubt have to pay much on 16 hours. not sure about working tax but think you could. good luck on your job. well done
I’m working 16 hours single mum no help from dad, I get help from working tax credits and child tax credits, then child benefits as everyone is entitled to it! Hopefully that helps you 😊x
Im sure on income support you can work 16 hours they just deduct a certain amount from the income support x
