Could I have a PPP.

I’ve had a few problems regarding my current partner, he isn’t my children’s father I’ll just add.

My 2 year old, like any 2 year old is a bit mischievous, getting into things he shouldn’t.. Today he was messing about in the kitchen and I told him twice to get out. He then put a small train in the Hoover pipe when I was doing dishes and I told him off, moved him and his toys to the living room.

My partner seems to think there should be a 3 strike rule in place and if I don’t follow it he goes in the worst possible mood with me saying I’m spoiling him and wrapping him in cotton wool. Apparently I aren’t firm enough and let him get away with too much.. and I do admit I let things slide but some of the things he does aren’t bad enough for me to take action but only to move him from what ever he was doing.

We had a bit of an argument over it today and he said “You’ll never change, he will always be spoilt if you let him get away with things.” and I replied with “Yeah maybe I do, but I don’t think he’s spoilt” conversation went on and things got a bit more heated and I said “you do realise if you talk about any other woman’s children like mine they wouldn’t stand for it either” and he said “I wouldn’t be with someone with children again”…

I feel quite mixed about what he said, I know what he was implying and I kind of feel insulted.

I’m not really sure how to approach this, or what to do? hopefully it seems clearer to you ladies.
