Could I have a ppp plz, I have ppl on here who don’t know yet!

I’ve been given my start date for a new job n I’m 8 weeks, (had an inkling when interviewed but wanted confirmation) now I’m scared they will decide I cannot have the job – can they do that?? I need the job
