Could i have a private message please..

Not baby related but its something im really struggling with..i have very little to do with my family as they hate my partner and are very critical of me

My partner and father of my children has been talking about marriage recently and i know its important to him.. he’s asked me if its something i would consider but i can’t get past the fact that i wouldn’t have the wedding id been thinking of… things like getting walked down the isle by my dad or going wedding dress shopping with my mum and sisters i wont ever have and it upsets me..as much as i love my partner and i would love to marry him i don’t know how to get past this vision i had in my head of things if that makes sense?

Has anyone else been in this situation?
