Could I have a private post please 😊. I’m being induced on Saturday and my midwife has said I won’t need a pessary now as I’m already 3cm dilated so they said they should just be able to break my waters. I just wanted to know if anyone has been induced the same way and how long did your labour and delivery take? It’s my first baby. Thanks x

It’s hard to say as everyone is different, I can only speak from experience and I’ve had my waters broken at 5cm and I gave birth 45 minutes later after after just 1 push (was 3rd baby though) hopefully won’t be too long for you. Good luck x
This seems correct as I was induced with the pessary but they told me if I was 3cm or more I wouldn’t have needed a pessary.
They broke my waters at 2-3cm
This was the same as me, I had my son an hour and half after waters were broke
Every1s different. From breaking waters and on drip i was quik but that was baby 5.
I was 2cm had my waters broken and within 50 minutes start to finish I had my boy x
From breaking my waters it took 5 hours before she was here x
4th baby took 40 mins x
Yep, 23 mins 😮 x
from breaking my waters it took 18mins and my 3rd was 2hrs after breaking my waters x
