Could I have a private post please… me and my ex have now fully split up living Separate ect. I am 6 months pregnant. He didn’t want the baby and said he couldn’t afford us. Bear in mind he’s on a 60k salary and I work full time. I moved back home approx 25miles away from where he has got his own house. My family are all here and this is the area ive been brought up in. I have always kept in contact during the pregnancy offering him to come to scans ect, he is going to come to the birth ect. He has bought nothing for the baby so far I have done all his nursury and bought everything myself with the help of my family. He is threatening me that if I start to be funny he will get 50% contact in court. He works away for 3 weeks at a time, and is called away at any time when back home. He works away for over half of the year. I’m not sure how that can work out he said his mother would have the baby when he’s away on the days he is suppose to have him. Would this be aloud? She is an alcoholic and suffers mental illness and in my eyes is unstable. Where do I stand with my rights? I’ve been nothing but nice… I’ve always said the baby needs to see his dad as much as me but he really didn’t want the baby now all of a sudden he wants 50%. I just don’t want my baby travelling to school ect from my exs upsetting school routine ect in the future… x
