Could I have a private post please. My partner on/off and I have a child together and I’m pregnant with my second to him, I don’t get on with his parents as they did nothing but poke their nose in our life’s, me and his parents use to get on but they have done some very nasty things to me, I don’t have any contact with them now. He’s always spending time with them and takes my child to see them and I’m fine with that. He’s 27, they buy him as they have money, they are so controlling!! Even though we don’t speak his parents are always doing something to try get on my nerves so this makes me and him fall out. he agrees they have been out of order to me but hasn’t got the balls to tell them, in my eyes it’s because they will stop buying him everything he wants, clothes cars, what ever he wants they buy him, yet he has a well paid job and can afford to buy himself this stuff. We have been speaking about Christmas and I’ve asked him if he’s going to spend the day with me and our child or with his parents and he’s told me he’s going to spend half the day with each of us, Am i over reacting to think he’s 27 with a child and should be spending it with our child? It’s not like i can go to his parents as I don’t speak to them, am I wrong to think he has his own family now and should spend it with us??
