Could I have a private post please?
I was in a serious relationship and fell pregnant. He left me for a few months but now we’re taking it slow. (Currently 7 months pregnant with his first child). I have three other children to my ex husband. I work part time (recently reduced from full time as I struggled being alone, pregnant, three kids, one of which has a disability). Anyway as I said, me and my partner are taking it slow. He found a house which he rents not too far away from me. I claim HB plus TC. Also get DLA for my disabled child, but I’m wondering if I’m breaking any kind of law? He stays over occasionally and has bought a few bits for his baby. Doesn’t contribute financially, and rents his own place with a tenancy agreement and bills. I don’t feel ready to live with him again as he really broke my heart when he left me. I can’t do that until I’m truly ready especially with having my other kids to think of. He took a year long tenancy and we said we will review our relationship then. I just don’t want to be in the wrong. Is he allowed to stay over? When he does he brings a bag of clothes etc. I’m just worried as I go on mat leave soon and I’m scared I’ll be investigated or something and forced to live with him. Thanks in advance. Xx
