Could I have a private post please?

My daughter is 2 years old and goes to a childminder while I am at work. The minder also looks after another child.
The past few weeks she’s been getting really upset before going to then coming home with various small bruises and marks on her face like scratch marks.

The first time I noticed this it was 2 scratches behind my daughters ear, I brushed it off as I know the minder has a dog and thought maybe it had jumped up and caught her when they’ve been playing.. things like that happen and wasn’t too concerned.

The second time I noticed, she had a small bruise on her cheek that wasn’t there when she went.. again I wasn’t too concerned as she’s a clumsy child anyway and thought she could have walked into something and the minder has forgotten to mention it to me.

Now today she’s come home with this (pic attached) down the side of her face, the minder told me that the marks were from her nap. Which of course I didn’t doubt until now (5 hours later) because the marks are still on her face!

I’ve asked my daughter what’s happened but as all you mums are aware it’s hard for a 2 year old to give you a straight answer.
I don’t know what to do!
Do I confront the minder and ask why she lied about the marks and how they actually happened, and also about other marks she’s come home with.

I’ve never had an issue with the childminder and my daughter has always loved going up until very recently.
