Could I please have a private post. I have a 5 year old hold whose in year 1 and started a new school in September. Since then my child has developed a habit of sucking on his top or coat etc which has resulted in a rash on his face and soaking wet tops etc. I think it’s a comfort thing but as the weather is getting colder I’m worried about him being in a wet top all day, do any parents have any advice on how to stop this I tried talking to him but he then stopped sucking his clothes and sucked the skin on his arms making them red raw I’m at a loss as how to stop it now TIA xx
