Could you do me a private post please

My daughter and nephew are nearly the same age ( a few weeks between) when it was his birthday my brother and sister in law had a party at a soft play center and didnt invite my girls.. At first they said It was because he only wanted school friends then it changed to they didn’t want my youngest there a an she was only 2 and too young, but all the photos they had babies there! Then came out they rented the place out so there was more than enough space for my girls… To say I was annoyed was an understatement but I got over it as I thought we’ll no point in falling out over a party.. I have never made comments about the part to anyone in that side of the family. Today I saw them for the first time since and I find my sister in law hard to talk with as we are very different so I did my normal how are the kids ect but didnt know what else to say really as soon as I turned around without me even walking away she said to my brother in law well apparently she’s still got a stick up her ass over the party we’ll we didn’t want them there she needs to get over it.. I was dumb struck and didn’t know ow what to say so I ignored it but the more I think about it the more I think I should say something? What would anyone else do… Sorry for the long post xx
