Does anyone know anything regarding EHCPs?
My son has been awarded the highest banding EHCP, but we have just moved to another area.
He’s currently in mainstream in our old area and I’m driving 120 miles all together to keep him in school so I don’t disrupt his routine.
However, the Mainstream schools under the new area we have just moved to are refusing his admission applications as they say they can not meet his needs. Where do we stand? Who is responsible for the upkeep of his EHCP, is it the LA he attends school at our the one we now live in?
