Gambling, drugs and lies:

Hi ladies, been through a rough few days and would like some direction and help for my partner.
I’ve let a new man come into our lives for the past 5 months and I’ve been so happy with him and pretty besotted. He’s let me down a few times about coming over and knowing he had a history of gambling I always kinda thought that’s maybe what he’d been doing instead.
Anyway, he made a awful lie that he’d been arrested for drink driving and couldn’t come home to me and he’d speak in the morning…. after ringing around all police stations and realising (which I kinda knew anyway) that he wasn’t there.
It’s now come to the bottom of it that he’s addicted to coke and when he does that he gambles… he’s also in debt and in a really bad place. I feel so bad and just want to help him- what do I do?
He said he hates how he is and just wants to be back to his normal self. I’m so hurt and sad about this, never felt how I do right now… he’s so so special to me and I generally really do love him. X
