Hello any steps mommy’s out there? I try my best with my step children and they are really lovely! Boy 10 girl 12, I have my own 7 month old with their dad. There’s been a couple of incidents of their mum lying about them because my jealous of our son, then admitting and back tracking. I have told the children while pregnant and after if they are jealous or feel left out to come and speak to me or their dad wether it’s good or bad how they feel – as I never want them to feel left out. I never have left them out I try to include them in everything possible – my family etc. The problem I have is if their mum asks up to have them extra or anything thing most the time we can but occasionally we can’t she throws a fit saying how things are convenient for us etc it’s like no matter what we do it’s never good enough. Maintenance is paid , we help with uniforms or clothes etc isn’t a problem but why is it never good enough ? Am I missing something ?
