No bashing people I just need advice to know if I’m right or wrong …
My child is nearly 4 his dad has never met him or seen him due to not being aloud (social servis advised not to) dose he still need to pay for his child ?! I’m a single parent I don’t no nothing about my child’s dad don’t know if he’s working or on benefits don’t no where he lives nothing … should I go to csa or should I just leave it as he ain’t in contact… he knows about his child … would job centre tell me if he is claiming benefits? I’ve never asked for a penny of this guy … all I’m really asking is should I just leave it or should he be paying for his child

Why are people saying leave it… this guy knows about this child and hasnt bothered to see him… course he shoukd be made to pay why should he not ita hes child as well wether hes around or not isnt the matter its the fact hes produced a life and should bloody well contribute
My son is also 4 and has also never meet hes father (he wants nothing to do with him) but honestly u will feel alot better bringing that child up without help from the father. I would never take a penny off my sons father i dont want or need hes money my son has everything he needs and wants i wouldnt give my sons dad the satisfaction of thinking he did help with my child when he didn’t money aint nothing its worthless ……love on the other hand is what my child needs and wants x
I think all parents should have to contribute, whether they see the child or not and regardless of why they don’t.
He has never seen him, why would you expect him to pay?
More hassle trying to find him I think…..unless you need support….
He should be paying for his child but honestly unless you really need the money I’d leave it.
If he has not contact, and the child is four, and you’re happy to not claim, I wouldn’t.
