Hello can i have a private post please. I need some advice…
Next week I have a meeting with a housing officer in the council offices and I’m worried about what it’s for. I moved out of my rented house on the 22nd of November due to money related problems. £356 owed to housing agency and couldn’t afford to pay it back. So the deposit I have for the house will cover the dept. In not 100% sure how I owe this money as I was on housing benefit and was always paying what they gave and the extra I had to cover. Anyway I have now moved into my sisters 1 bed flat and am sleeping in her living room with my bed in there and my 1 year old daughters cot in there too.Just worried that they won’t help me because I gave up a rented place.I was worried about how I was going to pay off the dept and on top I owe child tax £200 due to an overpayment they did last year. And the agency were stressing me out about the money owed to them too.
