Could I have a private post please?
Has anyone been 2nd on the bidding list for a council house and got it? I was 1st for 3 days and today’s the last day to bid and someone else has went infront of me. Gutted as it’s perfect for me and my daughter xx

After 18 months of bidding we came 1st on 1 and 2nd on 2 others so we provisionally excepted the 1st, day later we got a phone call saying we had 1st choice on all 3 so we changed properties (as 1 of the others was our first choice that we wanted) thought brilliant were moving end of July, 2 days later had another phone call about another flat in the same building 1st floor instead of 13th) that we had bid on last month but came like 18th telling us the hat was available instead and did we want it? Well yeah, we’re now decorating the new flat and we move Saturday (gave us about valuable week to pack instead of 4 but still) it does happen, we had nothing for 18 months then bam we get offered 4 in less than a week, so happy cus now my 8 and a half month old son can finally have his own room, keep your fingers crossed hunny xx
Iv just got a house and I was 6th lol depends if they decline or not fingers crossed for you they usually give them a week to veiw and accept or decline x
The house I’m in now I came like 10th or something! They put new windows in and stuff so I guess everyone else found houses or didn’t want it but it’s perfect for us 💗 it depends if the first person accepts it, if not its yours x
my daughter was offered a property to view and on the morning of the viewing received a phone call to say the property had already been taken its awful to make you think because they tell you your in line for it but don’t tell you that so many others are too
I did this 1 was 1st for most of it then at the last mine some 1 bid and then it closed when I looked after I had gone 2 place 18th and thow there was only my bid and another and when I asked they said of bands get priorty and they also have direct matches and people who have bid by text or phone or going in my advice would be watie and see what happens but try not to get your hopes up xx
